How do I make payment for a UK visa in Nigeria?
We all know paying for a UK visa in Nigeria can sometimes be stressful due to the dollar scarcity in the Country. Besides, the UK visa fees were configured in a way that charges or payments are made in US Dollars.
But worry no more; here are different ways to make payment for a UK visa in Nigeria;
- Use a local US dollar bank card: All banks provide credit/debit cards that are funded with dollars, but you must have a dollar account with the bank to apply for one. Assuming you already have a dollar account at your bank, simply request a credit/debit card to be attached to the account. Purchase dollars locally and deposit them in the dollar account. Then make a payment with the card.
- Use a foreign US dollar bank card: Personally, I don’t have a foreign bank account, but I have a friend who lives in the United States and has a Bank of America Visa card. So I contact him whenever I want to make payments for UK visa fees. If you don’t have a foreign bank account, you can ask friends who live abroad for assistance and provide them with the link.
- Visit any Sterling Bank branches nationwide to lodge your visa fees: See the link to access a list of designated Sterling Bank branches for the collection of UK visa application fees.
